The new Firefox design is really not for me, and Mozilla, instead of focusing on more important issues, is spending time changing something nobody asked for.

A Hacker News comment by n4bz0r shares a rollback setting: open
about:config
, find
browser.nova.enabled
, and set it to
false
.

Let's see how long this option stays available.

Hacker News thread: The new Firefox design is here

Mozilla's original announcement of the new design has more context.

Hello World Blogging

This is the first post of my new blog, something I've been postponing for a long time.

For reasons I don't understand, my mind tends to drift to the most distant places, always looking for knowledge, always working into something new, but at the same time, this knowledge fades away as fast as a breeze, usually leaving only small traces that it was there at some point in time.

This blog is a way to safeguard this knowledge, not for possible readers, but for myself, when inevitable it will become needed again, but, at the same time, if what I write here becomes good enough to help at least one person, I'll be happy to know that all this time, studying, learning, improving myself, mattered.

So, let's start this journey, without any idea where it will lead, but knowing it will be a nice experience.
